Usage
On Gel-X® tips:
Prep the surface of the tip with Gel-X Prep®.
Apply an even coat of Prismatic Gel Couleur.
For Cat Eye and Flash Glitter shades: immediately run the magnet around the edge of the nail to draw the particles towards the center.
Cure for 30 seconds.
Apply a second coat and repeat the magnet step if desired. Cure for 30 seconds.
Finish with a Builder Top Coat or a Non-Wipe Top Coat.
Cure for 30 to 60 seconds.
On natural nails:
Prep and cleanse with pH Bonder.
Apply a Non-Acidic Primer if desired.
Apply a thin, even coat of Gelcoat Base.
Cure for 30 seconds.
Apply Prismatic Gel Couleur.
For Cat Eye and Flash Glitter shades: run the magnet around the edge of the nail immediately after application, before curing.
Cure for 30 seconds.
Apply a second coat and repeat the step with the magnet if desired. Cure for 30 seconds.
Finish with a layer of gelcoat top coat or a non-wipe gelcoat. Allow to dry for 30 to 60 seconds.
Pro tip:
For a “moonbeam” effect, run the magnet in a circular motion around the edge of the nail after each coat to draw the particles towards the center.
The more precise the movement, the more pronounced the halo effect. Apply Prismatic over a complementary colored base for a deeper, more intense color shift.
Pair it with a Builder Gelcoat Top Coat for an ultra-shiny, multi-dimensional finish that amplifies the color-shifting effect.
