A coral-pink tinted clear base. The Nail Thoughts “In the Garden” collection consists of 12 “syrup” gels: ultra-sheer shades formulated as colored gels. These highly transparent shades enhance your nails while maintaining a natural look. Apply a single layer for a subtle hint of color, or layer two for the perfect nude manicure!

Discover your new obsession: KOKOIST x Nail Thoughts tinted bases.

Base coat, construction gel, and color—all in one bottle!

As their name suggests, these tinted bases are base coats enriched with a hint of neutral color. They save nail technicians valuable time, especially with clients who prefer a simple, understated look.

Thanks to their semi-rigid formula, these gels strengthen the nail while remaining soluble (removed by dissolution). You can then add color, designs, or simply a top coat for a subtle, flawless finish.

This unique formula offers the perfect balance between the flexibility of the “Mega Stick” base and the hardness of the “Platinum Bond Duo,” ensuring your clients’ nails are both flexible and strong. This range is also soluble, making it much easier for professionals to work with.

Tip: I always create a slight apex with my bases on my clients’ nails. I highly recommend doing the same with these products!” – Katie

  1. PREPARATION: Carefully prepare the nail by removing dead skin and loose cuticles from the nail plate and surrounding area. Gently buff the nail with a buffing block (sponge) to remove impurities and reduce excessive shine. Cleanse the nail with alcohol to remove any traces of moisture and prepare it for the gel application.
  2. BASE: Apply the “Nail Thoughts” tinted base coat to the natural nail, then cure under a UV and/or LED lamp. OPTIONAL: You can apply two layers of base coat, creating an “apex” (arch) and curing between each layer for better durability.
  3. OPTIONAL - COLOR: “Nail Thoughts” tinted base coats look beautiful on their own; they are also an ideal base for applying color or creating nail art. Apply your chosen design or color, then cure.
  4. TOP COAT: Apply a top coat gel and cure under a UV and/or LED lamp.

NOTE: Applying the gel too thickly may result in an uneven surface or the formation of air bubbles, preventing proper polymerization (curing). After each use, store the product at room temperature away from direct light.

We recommend using a sufficiently powerful lamp; otherwise, the gel may not cure completely, which could lead to lifting or peeling. Follow the recommended curing times for each step. Be careful not to let the gel overflow onto the skin. Gel applied to the cuticles or around the nail bed may cause lifting. Uncured gel on the skin may cause allergic reactions. If itching, redness, or swelling occurs, stop using the product immediately and consult a doctor.
